Aug 31, 2023 · This DJI Ronin SC i bought just 3 days ago. When I mount Nikon D7200 and 50mm prime lens the gimbal motor goes on sleep within 5 seconds after switch on.I think this issue is because of over weight of camera and lens.
RSC 2 Gimbal Locked or unbalanced - DJI Forum
Aug 14, 2021 · I was using the RSC 2 with Canon R6. It was working fine. Then all of a sudden it stopped and the message on the screen says Gimbal locked or unbalanced. Motors in Sleep mode. I took the camera off and rebalanced it. The motors are not locked and I cannot get it to work. I have shut it down for 5-10 minutes, turned it back on and I get the same message. Can anyone help with this?

Nov 10, 2020 · Try recalibrating the gimbal (under the status tab in the ronin app, and then "system calibration"), followed by a balance test and auto tune (under "motor parameters"). Repeat the process a couple of times. If that doesn't get rid of them, do contact DJI customer service, because, again, the gimbal should not be doing that.

Jul 4, 2018 · Anyhow, that would definitely be fun to try, but my guess anyone with a DJI gimbal should be able to increase their exposure time by just tracking a star (eg no tracker 100mm = 5s, with gimbal + active tracking, I guess you could do at least 10 or maybe even 20s).
